“All we can know is that we know nothing. And that's the height of human wisdom.”
― Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace

Dear (hopefully) Interested Person,

I decided to write of my study abroad experiences in Moscow primarily for the large number (maybe 47%?) of my friends and family who fear I will perish in the frozen Siberian tundra and/or return to them a communist.

I'm probably going to pet stray cats and I'm also probably going to fall down a lot - as in literally fall down due to a staggering lack of coordination, not "fall down" in a metaphorical sense. (My blog will not be reminiscent of the song  "Collide" by Howie Day, see 1:10.) As for communism, I'm leaning towards "no." As for surviving winter, I'm more in the range of "I should throw back a vodka shot before leaving the house each morning to prevent the bitter cold from seeping through my skin and collapsing my otherwise cheerful demeanor." However, I make no promises on either front.

With love from Moscow,

Aubrey
